When applying for a home loan with Cherut Kapitals, you will need to complete a statement of financial position that outlines your income, savings, expenses, and liabilities. This allows us to get a clear view of your current financial standing and assess how much you may be able to borrow.

Tip: Be sure that the information provided in your statement of financial position matches the bank statements you submit.

After we receive your application, one of our lending specialists will contact you within three working days to talk through your application and guide you on the next steps.

You'll also need to send us: 

1. Proof of income
Please provide the three latest payslips for each applicant so we can verify your income. If you are self-employed, you will need to submit your financial statements for the past two years. If you work as a contractor, please provide your individual income tax returns IR3IR3 for the last two years.
2. Bank statements
To review your spending habits and regular expenses, we’ll need bank statements covering the most recent three full months for:

  • Your primary transaction accounts, unless these are held with us. This may include your everyday account or credit card account.

  • The account where your income is paid, if different from your main transaction account.

3. Loan balances
If you are liable for any loans under a company or trust, please provide the latest loan statement. This includes personal loans, vehicle loans, and any other finance arrangements.

If a family member is helping with a gift, a loan, or by acting as a guarantor, we’ll need some additional information to verify that support. Speak with one of our lending specialists, and they will explain what is required and help you through the process.

All statements must be submitted as PDF files downloaded from online banking or issued directly by your bank. We’re unable to accept scanned copies, printed statements, or any other file formats.
